Privacy policy
Privacy policy This page explains, in plain words, what details we collect through korkodilosathens.gr, why, where they are kept and what your rights are, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and Greek law 4624/2019.
Who we are. The data controller is [LEGAL BUSINESS NAME], trading as Korkodilos, Plataion 56, 104 35 Athens, Greece · VAT no. [VAT NO.] · Tax office [TAX OFFICE] · G.E.MI. [G.E.MI. NO.] · korkodilos20@gmail.com · +30 698 796 4159.
What we collect. Only what you give us in the site’s forms (contact, corporate workshops, Clay Parties): your name and email, and optionally your phone, company, group size, preferred date and message. Also anything you send us directly by email, phone or social media.
Cookies. The site uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. Like any server, our hosting server logs technical access data (e.g. IP address, browser, time) for the security and running of the site.
Why we use it. To answer your message, send you an offer and organise the class or event you ask for (steps before a contract or performance of a contract, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)); to meet our tax obligations when there is a transaction (Art. 6(1)(c)); and to keep the site secure (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)). We do not use it for newsletters or advertising without your consent, and we never sell it or give it to others for their own purposes.
Who processes it for us. Netlify, Inc. (USA) hosts the site and receives the forms; Google (Gmail) delivers the form messages to our inbox. Data may be transferred outside the EU with the safeguards the GDPR requires (the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework). Links to Instagram, Facebook and Google Maps lead to other sites with their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it. As long as needed for your request and at most [2 years] after our last contact, unless the law (e.g. tax law) requires us to keep it longer.
Photos in the studio. We often photograph the pieces and the studio for our site and social media. We never publish a photo in which you can be recognised without asking you first, and we remove any photo you ask us to.
Your rights. You can ask at any time to see, correct or delete your details, to restrict or object to their use, or to receive them in a portable format — just email korkodilos20@gmail.com. We reply within one month. If you think we have not respected your rights, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
Children. If you are under 15, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you.
Changes. We may update this text; the current version is always on this page. Last updated: [DATE].
